Airline firm Lufthansa has swung among banning the use of AirTags on baggage and allowing for them.
Lufthansa tweeted that Apple’s tracking equipment were frowned on in checked baggage, but then did a rapid 360 and mentioned that the AirTag, with its lower transmission ability and battery, did not pose safety hazards.
The firm issued a tweet that now lets its use. It was odd how the airline considered the AirTag unsafe in flights irrespective of global rules stating they have been not.
Tweets started circulating the world-wide-web when the airport said that they have been ‘banning activated AirTags from luggage’ as they were considered ‘dangerous and want to be turned off’.
Then, the company described how baggage trackers are matter to unsafe products polices in accordance to ICAO rules. Lufthansa endorses deactivating the trackers for the duration of the flight if it’s connected to checked baggage.
As it turns out, the reference to the battery regulation was off considering that it claims that the battery has to be a lot more than two grams in purchase to be incorporated.
